there is a depth of honesty in q's music , and 'linger' is no exception to this ! the debut solo album from the young fiddler manages to showcase q's original tune-writing while also exploring various musical traditions ; from irish trad to trad quebecois to old-time american .
having been energetically-embraced already by the music industry as one-half of dynamic duo 'qristina & quinn bachand' , q has earned recognition around the world - including winning Top Traditional Group and Top Duo at the Irish Music Awards , earning three nominations from the Canadian Folk Music Awards and two from the Western Canadian Music Awards .
